Gebben and George get the 2010 season started.

Gebben Miles (file photo)2009 NSCA national champ Gebben Miles has taken the cup at the 2010 Seminole Championships in Florida.  He won it in another shoot-off situation, this time against Todd Simmons and Anthony Matarese.  Gebben said of the weekend, "It went awesome. I shot good in every event!"  In the shoot-off Anthony was up first and shot 1 ex 6 then Gebben went 5 ex 6 and it was down to Todd Simmons who went 3 ex 6 for Runner-up.  Gebben has the nerves made of steel when it comes to the high pressure shoot-off that’s for sure!

Congrats also go out to Joey Bolton for the FITASC event win four targets clear of Zach Kienbaum who was lurking close to HOA in every event he shot in all weekend.  Young Jenni Clark took the ladies Main and Sub-junior and I also understand picked up Pilla as a sponsor.

Hours earlier in a very hot South Africa George Digweed (GBR) won both the FITASC sporting and Compak events at the Pan-African Damien Birgan, George Digweed amd Mark Marshall at 2009 World FITASC (file photo)Championships.  He went 196 ex 200 in Compak, six clays out and 194 ex 200 in PCH, nine clays out!  George reported it was "…great targets, great people and so very hot!"  In the PCH, Spada (ITA) went Silver with 185 ex 200 and John Pool (GBR) on 183 for Bronze.

The fuse is lit with two great champs making an early statement.  This is going to be a great season!
