A cool event but with a tough spot on the calendar is the 2010 California FITASC Open sporting clay shoot. It will be held September 24-26 at Camanche Hills Hunting Preserve in Ione, CA. This is the second year of the event and if you’re looking to shoot some good FITASC this month, this is the place to do it. Targets will be set by West Coast King of FITASC, Dave Fiedler.
The event will consist of a 300 target main shot 150 each day over 6 separate parcours. Entry fee is $350 and limited to only 72 shooters. There will also be a 50 target prelim shot on Friday and a 100 target 5-stand event shot straight through Friday or 50/50 Saturday and Sunday. This event got good reviews from the shooters who attended last year.
