More opportunities to shoot in Europe became available today as FITASC has opened entries for a number of competitions on their site. A big slate of shoots in Russia this year. Be warned that travel to shooting events in Russia has been described as a ‘nightmare’ by shooters. The adventurous may want to give it a go though. I am just going to pull the info from the FITASC email.
The 4 Grand Prix of Compak Sporting in France, from 20th to 21st March 2010 :
The French National selection takes place at this very moment, in several clubs in France. So the French federation FFBT has decided to open entries to 4 Fitasc Grand Prix of Compak Sporting, in order to promote the participation of non French shooters.
Grand Prix of Compak Sporting of Russia, in the Moscow area, in Club « Russky Medved », from 9th to 11th April 2010.
Sporting Grand Prix of Russia, in Saint-Petersburg, from 15th to 16th May 2010.
European Sporting championship in Saint-Petersburg in Russia from 27th to 30th May 2010 :
The organisers have done their best to simplify all the steps linked to your stay in Russia. The travel agency Euroburo, partner of the championship organisation, offers you a selection of hotels, whose fee includes all transfers (airport, to opening ceremony, to the shooting ground). You will not have to rent a car. The prices have been negotiated at the very best, in order to limit the expenses of your stay. The only formalities you have to do is the visa obtention and sending the gun form. The organiser takes care of the rest.
European Compak Sporting championship in Cyprus from June 18th to 20th, 2010:
The championship is organised on the wonderful Olympic club of Latsia Nicosia. We are sure that the quality of organisation and the welcome given to you will be excellent, as always according to the Cypriot tradition.
